Today was a manic day at London Fashion Week as I was behind the scenes as part of the styling team on the Basharatyan V show.
When we arrived to Freemason's Hall designer Veronica was calmly prepping the looks, an assortment of beautifully tailored trousers, cropped tops and shirts mixed with bright, fluffy coats. The models then began to filter in, each was assigned there looks for the show and a few last minuet changes where made, before they where off to hair and make up. Hair for the show consisted of blonde wigs perched high on the models' heads, cut sharply into a crop, this was paired with icy blue lips and long, sharp nails. The hustle and bustle of show-prep was accompanied by the melodic sound of Emiliana Torrini and her guitarist warming up for the show, adding a peaceful element into the backstage mix. 2.30pm and its show time! Myself and the team insure that all models are correctly dressed and in the right order before they strut down the Fashion Scout catwalk.
