I completed an internship for Ostwald Helgason during my placement year at university. Whilst I can't share with you, for privacy reasons, the work I completed for OH, I can show you this project I completed inspired by the brand.
I designed this project to be in keeping with the Ostwald Helgason aesthetic, I looked at there classic silhouettes as well as use of colour and print.
The inspiration behind the collection are the female 'Poacher Hunters' who are employed to ward off, hunt and capture illegal poachers. They protect endangered animals from being killed for trophies such as their skin or tusks. Animals are often the subject of prints and fabric inspiration at OH making this a good match for the brand.
The collection has safari-style and utilitarian elements, whilst still being a fun and wearable streetwear range.
